It's a.....

About a week ago John and I headed to our anatomy scan anxious to get one step closer to finding out if we were having a little girl or boy, but most importantly we prayed to hear that Baby Ward was healthy! We felt so blessed and gracious to hear that all was well with baby. Because John and I wanted to be surprised we asked the nurse to text the sex to a friend who was making our gender reveal cake. John wore blue all day and I wore pink. I am not sure I had a feeling one way or the other but if John was going to say boy, then I felt like I needed to root for bows and ruffles. :) It was so hard waiting all day to find out but our gender reveal party with friends and family was certainly worth it.

Here's a glimpse from the party... Unfortunately we weren't able to get many pictures of John and I cutting the cake AND somehow I forgot to get everyone together to take a group picture, but you get the idea...

Another guessing game

And the verdict is......

It's a BOY

We couldn't be more excited. Regardless of a whether Baby Ward was a girl or a boy, John and I were beyond grateful for a healthy baby. One thing is for sure... he will be one loved little boy!
